GUIDELINES
 
All participants are expected to abide by the basic lifestyle of Integral Yoga such as no smoking or alcohol, no non-veg foods, etc. 
 
In some ways the tour is rigorous, both physically and mentally, so after receiving your forms we request a brief telephone interview to determine if this is the appropriate tour for you.
 
INTERNATIONAL AIRFARE
 
The tour fees do not include airfare to and from India.

We recommend that you book a flight arriving at Chennai (previously known as Madras) and departing from New Delhi. If at all possible, please arrive early to rest and acclimate for a day or two before the tour begins. Hotel rooms can be reserved for those arriving early; the tour will pay the tariff starting at noon on January 26th.

Our tour will end in New Delhi on the evening of February 12. If you plan to fly out of India from New Delhi that evening, please do not book a flight that departs before 11 PM. 
 
Please do not purchase your flight ticket until we have verified that there are eight persons enrolled.  The round-trip flights (for the tour dates) out of New York City are around $900 as of April, 2019.

 
 
PASSPORT AND VISA
 
Please make sure your passport is current and will not expire before August 2020.  An Indian visa is required also.  If you are coming just for the tour, a six-month tourist visa is enough.  You can apply for a visa through the internet at Cox & Kings Global Services, which is the official website for Indian visas. Last year the visa process took two weeks and cost about $120.  


ROAD TRAVEL
 
We will rent "luxury" AC vans or buses for road travel during the tour. 
 
FEES
 
The fee is US $2200 for the Sacred India tour. This includes lodging, domestic air tickets, gratuities, travel by private AC bus, entry tickets for excursions, and two meals a day.  (The tour pays for breakfast and lunch but not dinner.)

The tour will also treat you to two massages to help keep you relaxed and healthy! (Sometimes the massage therapists cannot schedule in treatments for everyone, so we can promise only one massage - but hopefully two!)

The tour fees are based on two persons occupying a twin-bedded room.  If you would like a private room a supplementary payment of $375 is required.
 
The tour fees do not cover the costs for the international airfare, nor charges for your passport, visas, or inoculations. Also the cost of personal services such as laundry, phone calls, tips for baggage and for the drivers, etc., will be the responsibility of tour members.
 
REGISTRATION
 
At your request we will send you a registration form along with an Information Packet.  

The completed registration forms along with a deposit of $700 are due by October 1, 2019.  However - the sooner you can get your deposit to us the better, as registrants will be waiting to hear if we have the minimum of eight persons in order to finalize their arrangements.  Also, we cap the registration at fifteen persons, so there is a space limitation.
 
The final payment is due by December 15, 2019.
